Catching the Spirit Youth Society

Outdoor Experiences for Youth

CTS needs your support!  The CTS Youth Council will be having a bottle drive to help support 2016 youth council activities, including the upcoming winter excursion.

CTS needs your refundable bottle, cans and juice containers.  Please drop them off and/or help us collect refundable bottles from the community.  Parent helpers, either to help pick up containers and/or sort and count containers are still needed for part or all day.

When: Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 10:00am to 4:30 pm

Have you thought about getting more involved in CTS! Here is your chance.  Catching The Spirit Youth Society (CTSYS) is recruiting Directors for 2016-2017.  If you have previous experience and/or passion for supporting youth and their development as young community leaders, then CTSYS Board may be your opportunity to support the CTS program. We are recruiting several new Directors with particular interest in individual(s) with some previous experience in fundraising, marketing and/or donor recognition.

Join the CTS Youth Council and CTS as we host our first annual Snowflake Social Christmas open house.  Drop by for some Christmas goodies and refreshments. Join in on the games, music and Christmas crafts.  Come roast a marshmallow and sing songs around the fire!

CTS will be collecting new or lightly used winter coats, hoodies, winter socks, toques and gloves.  Items collected will be distributed to youth and families in need through our community partners like the Surrey Urban Mission.

Date: Saturday, December 5th drop by anytime between 1 and 5pm

The CTS Office will be closed from November 21 to 30, 2015.  If you require something from the office, please let me know by November 18, 2015 and I will do my best to deal with your request prior to the November 21 - 30, closure.
