Spend your afternoons jumping into nature with CTS! Our Ranger Day Programs are offered at our Burnaby Lake Nature House location on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Ranger Days allow for youth who would like to get the CTS experience in a day camp setting. Our Rangers do a variety of activites, such as:
learning about native plant and wildlife
and so much more!

Want to get involved with Catching the Spirit but your not sure about staying overnight in one of our Spirit Steward camps? Then our Ranger Days are just for you! Our Ranger Day programs allow youth to get a taste of the CTS experience in 2 of our park locations. On Thursdays our Rangers work in one of our two Community Gardens helping to maintain and improve them throughout the summer. Some of the tasks may include:
Come out to Burnaby Lake for a morning of cheering on runners in the Rubber Ducky Half Marathon. In exchange for us being the race marshals, CTS earns money for our programs (this means more marshmallow-eating at camps!)
It's an easy, fun way to spend the day & it helps CTS out so much! So come on out & give back to the program you love so much!
Our Spirit Steward program is offered at four Metro Vancouver regional parks (Burnaby Lake, Capilano River, Pacific Spirit and Tynehead), and our Spirit Ranger program at two: Burnaby Lake and Pacific Spirit. Check out the map above from the Metro Vancouver website for park locations.
